I was at work when the earthquake struck. I went downstairs and was surprised that the window glass of sendai mediatheque across the street was flexing. Inside the restaurant a refrigerator toppled over, but I stayed calm.
The important thing for us is to remember the challenges we faced at the time, and, rather than just talking about how hard it was, we should pass on wisdom to our children now and again and tell them about helping each other out.
