[School and the Earthquake Disaster]
I was at the driver’s license center renewing my license when the earthquake occurred. I immediately returned to school around 15:40. Since our students had already gone to the second floor for safety, I was soon able to take charge of leading local people who had come to the school to seek refuge. Although it was initially thought to be common-sense to exit school buildings in the event of an earthquake, I think it is necessary to reconsider this evacuation method in areas prone to tsunami.
