Mr. Takahashi’s house, which had a factory on the first floor and residential space on the second floor, was severely damaged in the tsunami. After the tsunami, he established an evacuation route to the mountain behind his house in preparation for the subsequent tsunami.
His aquaculture facility was destroyed by the earthquake, and he witnessed it with his own eyes. Despite these circumstances, he feels pleasure at being able to continue to work at sea with his son.
