Inochi No Mori (Forest of Life) Relay Tree-planting Ceremony
On July 31, 2011, a tree-planting activity "Inochi O Tsunagu Mori (Forest of Passing on Life) Project in Sendai" was held at the Seaside Park Adventure Field in Ido, Wakabayashi-ku, Sendai. About 350 people who came from all over the country planted about 1,000 plants of 13 kinds such as Machilus thunbergii, Quercus myrsinifolia, Daphniphyllum macropodum, and Cerasus jamasakura.
