Record of Minamigamou Sewage Plant
The condition of Minamigamou Sewage Plant, which processes about 70% of Sendai City’s wastewater, was explained at an on-site study meeting, “The 14th Japan Society on Water Environment Symposium.” The plant is currently engaged in treatment of dehydrated sludge, and is struggling with problems such as enriched radioactive materials and damaged equipment.
