I was at Junkudo Bookstore in Sendai LOFT department store. The sales staff, including myself, led the evacuation of customers and checked around the fallen bookshelves to make sure no-one was trapped underneath.
Today, downtown Sendai has apparently regained normalcy, but I feel that the meanings of our every word and action are completely different after the disaster.
