Livable Home: Watanabe – moving, and a new shack –
Watanabe, who lost his house in the tsunami caused by the earthquake, built a shack on the site of his home using washed away building materials and furniture. In 2014 he sold his original home’s land, and moved to a home further inland. On his new land he built a shack again, and spends many hours there each day.
